Statement of Faith

Discover the biblical beliefs that guide our faith, shape our ministry, and unite us as followers of Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

1. The Scriptures

We believe the Scriptures are inspired by God and are the authoritative Word of God.
(II Timothy 3:16; I Thessalonians 2:13; II Peter 1:21)

2. The Godhead

We believe our God is one, but manifested in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, being co-equal.
(Philippians 2:6)

The Father

 (John 14:28; John 16:28; John 1:14)

The Son

(John 1:1; John 1:18; John 1:14)

The Holy Spirit

 (John 15:26)

3. Man, His Fall, and Redemption

We believe man fell through sin and is in need of redemption. Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the Law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God.
(Romans 5:12-15; Romans 3:10; Romans 3:23; I John 3:8; Ephesians 2:8-10)

4. Eternal Life and the New Birth

We believe eternal life is received through Jesus Christ and that the new birth is necessary for salvation.
(II Corinthians 7:10; I John 5:12; John 3:3-5)

5. Water Baptism

 We believe in water baptism
(Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39)

6. Baptism in the Holy Ghost

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Ghost as commanded by Scripture.
(Matthew 3:11; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38-39; Acts 19:1-7; Acts 2:4)

7. Sanctification

We believe sanctification is a continuing work of grace in the life of the believer.
(Hebrews 12:14; I Thessalonians 5:23; II Peter 3:18; II Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:12-14; I Corinthians 1:30)

8. Divine Healing

We believe divine healing is provided through the work of Christ and is taught in Scripture.
(Mark 16:18; James 5:14-15; I Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17; Isaiah 53:4-5)

9. Resurrection of the Just and the Return of Our Lord

We believe in the resurrection of the just and the return of our Lord. Following the Tribulation, He shall return to earth as King of kings and Lord of lords. Together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests, He shall reign for a thousand years.
(Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:6)

10. Heaven & Hell

We believe that there is a Heaven to Gain and a Hell to shun. We believe that heaven and hell are real, eternal places. Those who place their faith in Jesus Christ will spend eternity with God in heaven, while those who reject Him will be eternally separated from God. (John 3:16–18; John 14:6; Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:11–15)
