YOUTH MINISTRY
True North
Helping students build a strong foundation in Christ and grow into lifelong followers of Jesus.
TRUE NORTH
The Unwavering Compass of Our Identity and Purpose
Life comes with countless voices competing for your attention and endless paths promising fulfillment. True North is a place where students can step away from the noise, encounter God, build authentic friendships, and discover the unchanging truth found in Jesus Christ.
Created for middle school, high school, and college students, True North exists to help the next generation develop a strong spiritual foundation through worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, and a supportive community. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking to grow deeper in your relationship with God, you’ll find a place where you are welcomed, encouraged, and challenged to become who God created you to be.
What is True North?
True North is a youth ministry dedicated to guiding students toward a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. Our mission is to help them build a strong spiritual foundation while providing a welcoming community where they can connect with others their age, grow in their faith, and just have fun.
Youth Nights are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month and include games in the gym, group discussions, and a relevant, Christ-centered message. On every 5th Sunday, we host Youth Takeover Sunday, where our students take an active role in leading the Sunday service by serving in various ministry positions throughout the church. It is a fun and interactive way to get students involved in the church and find out more about what interests them!
Who is True North for?
True North is for middle school and high school-aged students.
Why the name "True North"?
True North represents the unwavering compass of our identity and purpose, guiding us through life’s uncertainties with clarity, confidence, and hope. For us, True North is a person—Jesus Christ. In an ever-changing world filled with countless voices and directions, Jesus remains our constant guide, faithfully pointing us toward the Kingdom of Heaven and the ultimate Truth. When we fix our eyes on Him, we discover who we are, why we were created, and how to navigate life with confidence.
As Jesus declared:
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.” — John 14:6
No matter where life takes us, our True North never changes. Jesus is our foundation, our direction, and our destination.
